There are manys. Especially when you want to make it like many Japanese and Chinese aquascaper.
The Golden ratio for example is a hard sience and very old. But I dont make my layouts with this strong rules...I mixed the European thinking with an Asian touch.
For example Takashi Amano needs about 1-2 hours or more finding only for the exact stone layout. This is Japanese style and not easy to copy for European people if you dont grow up in a Asian culuture.
One easy rule: If you made a stone layout "Iwagumi" you have to count your stone numbers. Important are uneven stone groups like: 3, 5, 7, 9 stone pieces.
No groups with 2, 4, 6, ....

Altın oran sıkı ve eski bir yöntem. Fakat ben kendi tasarımlarımda sıkı sıkıya uygulanan kurallara başvurmuyorum. Avrupalı düşüncesi ile bir Asya dokunuşunu birleştiriyorum.
Örneğin Takashi Amano bir tasarım yaparken en az 1-2 saatini uygun kayaları seçmek için harcıyor. Japon tarzı bu ve Asya kültürü ile yetişmemiş Avrupalılar için bunu kopyalamak hiç de kolay değil.
Basit bir kural: Eğer Iwagumi stili ile bir tasarım yapıyorsanız kaya sayılarınız 3, 5, 7,9 gibi tek sayılar olmalı. 2, 4, 6 gibi çift sayıda kaya kullanmamalısınız.
Yakında çok sayıda böyle basit kurallarla geleceğim...
